Distance we’ll travel, whose circular center is formed from a field painting of raindrops condensed into many furrows and surrounded by dark velour containing stitches mimicking ripples, considers upheaval and renewal in the way actions reverberate over long periods. This work incorporates tactile, soft, and sculptural elements informed by various sewing methods involved in fabricating clothing and other items intended for use in the home.
